Spring Break 2010

Destination: Italy

APRIL 6 FLORENCE

Overslept, Decided to go to Florence straight instead of Pisa, Got our tickets, Thought that we were right on time, Missed the train, Switched the tickets, Went on the train to Florence Finally

Arrived at Florence, Met Sabrina :), Clean Hostel

Went out with Sabrina to the Main Market Place, Met Ivy, Gelato, Gorgeous park, Walked around town

Dinner at a fancy resturant near the river, Yummy Pasta delicious deserts :) 

Went uphill and saw the nightview of Florence from high up!

Bar, Peach Lemon Vodka? Yummm, Truth or Dare

Late night talks at the Hostel :)

APRIL 7 FLORENCE

Woke up late, Met Sabrina for lunch

Went up to visit NYU Florence!

Such pretty campus, so chill and relaxing like a holiday resort, thought that I've choosen the wrong campus :P

Visited their dorms, but think that Nido is much nicer, however, they're life seems much relaxed though :)

Went to the park in the campus, so beautiful!

Said farewell to Sabrina and off to see the "Real David"

:P Wait in line some more, finally saw David

Left for dinner, walked for an hour but couldn't find the resturatnt :S

Ate somewhere random,

Piggyback home :)

APRIL 8 FLORENCE & PISA

Uffizi Museum, Waited for 2 hours in the line :S

Saw Venus, and numerous paintings, art pieces that starting too look all similar after visitng so many museums :S

Train to Pisa!

Tower of Pisa, Refused to take touristy photos, Ran back to the train station

Got on the train back to Florence, took our luggage and went to catch the train to Venice

The train to Venice was actually a night train to Vienna, got off at the wrong station in Venice at 1 am

Had no choice, stayed in a pretty nice hotel and had a good night sleep isntead :)
